Flavius and Narisca
Long ago in the days of the Republic of Rome there was a land called Narisca. It was a land filled with bright blue rivers, fertile farmland, and emerald-green forests.
One day Flavius, the consul of Rome, sent ten legions to subdue this nation. They went far into it but they were driven back at the capital. They attacked again but with no success. Frustrated, Flavius sent troops one last time, but they failed.
“Oh well, I’m sure the soil is bad,” he said.
